Delmaine Potato Gnocchi

Technically not filled pasta, Gnocchi is actually rolled potato or pumpkin in a shaped form. Quick to cook and unique in flavour and texture, Gnocchi offers an alternative that can be used in the same way as any other pasta. Although slightly harder to cook, the resulting flavour and appearance makes Gnocchi a table pleaser. Serving Suggestions - Use Gnocchi as a ‘potato top’ for pies and stews. Bake gnocchi by itself or with oils/butters and herbs and spices for a tasty potato side dish. After boiling gnocchi drain them and fry up with onions, bacon, prawns and chicken - top with Delmaine Pomodoro or Alfredo Sauces.

Instructions for use: Drop the gnocchi into a pot containing 10-12 cups of boiling water. Keep on the boil until the gnocchi rise to the surface - about 1 minute, or for a maximum of 2 minutes. Drain, and serve hot immediately, with a Delmaine Fresh Pasta Sauce.
